“Rooted deeply in the sound of Bathory, old Manowar, Solstice and Manilla Road, Atlantean Kodex deliver an unbelievably heavy mixture of dramatic hymns, harmonic twin guitars and fantastic melodies, telling tales of lost worlds and ages past.”
Once more a brilliant and most entertaining show by the guys in HELL! They obviously played in a venue too small (lots of people didn´t get inside) and a way, WAY too short set, but for us who were there, it was still awesome:) A good mix of old and new songs.
Kinda dream come true. Reunited EMPEROR (first time since 2007), awesome setlist: “In the Nightside Eclipse”, a couple of songs from “Wrath of The Tyrant” and finishing with a BATHORY cover. One of the great live experiences in life!
I was very excited to see NECROPHOBIC with the new vocalist and can´t say I was disappointed. Quite the opposite. Atte (earlier in the band 1992-1994) is a GREAT frontman and the whole gig was all thunder and darkness even though it was extremely hot and sunny on the stage. Invented a happy dance to “Revelation 666″, but that one you never want to see. It was only for a couple of persons behind the backdrop. Dunno what L.G. thought about it:)) I´m guest appearing in some of the clips below. Never mind that. I had to.
Anyways, even the very sceptic guy (“It simply just CAN´T work out without T.S.”) in the front row seemed to fully enjoy the gig.
