Met up with my friend Mike for a couple of reasons (besides the fact I still hadn´t visited his tattoo shop!!). For one, he got himself some new photo gear and he wanted me to come over for a play day testing the new stuff. The second reason…I think I got myself a good base for indoor band shoots:) I can use the tattoo shop´s back room when ever I need to, and because of the great location (Old Town, Stockholm.), there´s also a million good spots for the outdoor photos. So big thanks to Mike and the artists at ZOI Tattoo for being nice and wanting me there:) The deal also includes great benefits for “my” bands and the friends of extreMMetal.se. But more of that later…

TERMINAL PROSPECT promo shoot 7/1 2012

Sebastian (Rojas) in TERMINAL PROSPECT contacted me for a few months ago and we started talking about finding a date for a photo shoot. We had already booked a day in November last year, but for the first time I had to cancel due to my trip to Japan. But we made it finally and had a fun afternoon at their rehearsal studio and the nearby surroundings. Of course with food and coffee breaks!! The guys were great fun to work with so it was a good day:) No albums yet, only a few “Making of…” pics. Some by me and some by my wonderful assistant Johanna.

Some misc. pics from the latest M.M.I. shoot at Trappers MC headquarters in Gnesta. The very first photo shoot of  2012. We all had a really pleasant stay there (and free coffee!!), so thanks a lot to our hosts:) And I loved all the Harleys…
I´ve been working with the band many times before, but now there´s a completely new line-up: Jimmy Bergman – guitar, Zoomlander (Pontus!!!) – bass, Berget – vocals/guitar and Bennich – drums.
The former bass player Nail also dropped by to check things out.

TRASH AMIGOS & KRUX @ Debaser Slussen 29/12 2011

The fantastic last gig (for me) of 2011 with Trash Amigos & Krux. Lots of legendary musicians sharing the stage that night and it was just fukken awesome!!!:)) I think everybody knows about Krux, but you also need to check out the four Pedros in Trash Amigos!! Great show!!
As usual at Debaser, I got some trouble with the lights. Really dark and most of the lights were from behind. So high ISO:s and somewhat crappy pics. But never mind…had so much fun:)

Besides the four finalists, there were also other bands playing. Like the last years winners SEVENTRIBE. They got some (extremely intensive) 30 minutes on stage and has to be the only band in the world who look hot in pink;)) Unconditional love since 2005!

What to expect @ a SEVENTRIBE gig..

The Finalists @ Released – Live & Unsigned 17/12 2011

Went to Göta Källare to get some pics for a magazine. And for extreMMetal.se, ofc:) Met the four bands (and the winners) competing to be the best unsigned rock/metal band in Sweden 2011, and had a great time. Thanks to my sidekick Johanna!! My best/most fun assistant ever!
Anyway, 75% of the votes were given by a jury (ppl from Crank It Up, Sweden Rock, Jägermeister and Supernova Records) and the rest by the people at the venue. The winner gets to play at the Sweden Rock Festival and the Getaway Festival. They also get some studio time for recording a single to be distibuted with 18 000 Sweden Rock Magazines spring 2012. Seventribe, the winners from last year was there, of course, Raised Fist also, but more of them later. (And I KNOW I missed Entombed@Riche) the same night. But no complains, was kinda happy at GK;) Still, thanks Patrik H. for uploading the vid!)
